Miss Millie hit the Jimmy Fallon set sporting her usual precocious style preferences, but we can’t get mad at any gal having fun with her fashion like this.
To be fair, while it doesn’t feel remotely fresh, it also doesn’t have the decades-older feeling that so many of her public ensembles give off. The top is really cute and a fun way to keep all the interest up near her face, which is essential for TV work. The “pants” and shoes send a pretty clear “I’m 18 now and I’ll wear what I want” message, which means we can’t bring ourselves to harrumph over them, even though we think they’re both tacky and not up to the level of the top. Like we said, the girl’s got her preferences and she’s trying to have some fun with them.
