The cast of The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent came out for the film’s premiere and almost none of them dressed to live up to that title. Let’s assess!

Ike Barinholtz

Okay. Not to be dismissive or mean here, but we don’t think Ike Barinholz has, say, the publicist for Dior Homme’s number in his phone; which is to say that we wouldn’t hold him to the same standards as someone like Alexander Skarsgard, for instance — or even Nicholas Cage, for that matter. Having said that, we’re pretty sure the guy can get a suit that fits him correctly and ensure that it’s pressed and relatively wrinkle-free. In other words, we don’t hold the low-key, rather dull style against him, but are tsking vociferously at the sloppiness.

Nicolas Cage

He’s Nicholas Cage. It’s fine. We tend to think he’s got it in him to be a little more interesting than this in terms of his style choices, but we never saw him as someone who really paid much attention to fashion. Try a suit with some color next time, Nick. You have too much personality to dress this blandly.

Tiffany Haddish in Alexandre Vauthier

She’s been knocking it out of the park on red carpets lately. Her style preferences seem to have settled on sparkly and glamorous and we can’t find any reason to argue with that. It seems to us that the shoulders are just a little too padded out here, but everything else about the dress works great for her. The shoes are horrible and we can’t wait for the plastic sweatbox trend to die.

Lily Sheen

The suit is super cute and low-key chic. We like the idea of silver flat sandals with this, but those things look a little cheap, we’re sorry to say.

Pedro Pascal in Thom Browne

It’s a pretty great suit, but we think he’s not the type to pull off Thom Browne’s rather precise style. He’s too laid back to make the fuss work for him. The jacket’s too small on him and he’s just not able to make those armbands work. Granted, very few people could.

That looks hilarious.
