Hunh. This is the second time this month we are forced to concede that an Alexandre Vauthier dress is not only great, but the perfect dress for the wearer to pick. We usually tend to think Vauthier’s stuff is too tacky to be chic, but we are happy to admit we might be wrong about that sometimes. Quinta Brunson wore a Vauthier gown on Jimmy Kimmel Live last week that looked fantastic on her and now here comes Olivia Rodrigo, completely stepping up her style game for the Brit Awards.
This is … pretty much perfect. No notes. The dress is great and we love that her team didn’t get too cute with the styling or accessorizing. No matter what the trends may call for, sometimes all a gown needs is a simple pair of sandals, delicate jewelry, and pretty but not overwhelming hair and makeup. This may be her style sweet spot going forward: glam ingenue.
