Very Busy Girl Elle Fanning has moved smoothly from promoting the second season of The Great to promoting her upcoming turn as text-monster Michelle Carter, The Girl From Plainville. She’s also demonstrating a more mature style approach, although that’s been happening for some time now.

This is a really great, deceptively simple and low-key look for her. It feels professional, but it has a really nice photogenic quality to it. It was smart not to overwhelm with the styling. Love the shape of those pants. And yes, they make her butt look incredible, which is pretty much the point of this pose. We don’t blame her. If any pants made our butts look that good, we’d walk backwards all the time while wearing them.

Miss, you had us until the footwear. Those things are for drag queens working a pool party. The dress is great and the tights are fun, although we don’t think they go together all that well.
