Rachel Brosnahan has been out here on this balcony fashioning as hard as she can in order to promote The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel‘s upcoming fourth season. We haven’t loved everything she’s worn, but there’s no denying she’s going for the memorable stuff. She also seems to be playing around with color themes, going from an all-red look, to a couple of days of all-blue and now here she is working the B&Ws. We may not always agree with the choices or results, but we LOVE it when someone clearly has a style game plan.

The good news for her is that we love both of these looks. We’re sure she’s relieved to read that.

Adorable. No notes. Love the undone bottom of the shirt, which adds just the right touch of sexy insouciance to a look that could’ve come across too twee for words.

Designers keep reinventing the ladytux and we keep having to walk back our complaint that it’s all been done before. This is pretty fabulous. So many of the elements feel unexpected and we could even argue that some don’t really go together but it all comes together in this surprisingly chic way. Not sure the top knot works with it, though.
