Lady Gaga hit the red carpet for the New York premiere of House of Gucci in the ultimate “stand and pose” dress. And by that we mean it’s a killer look so long as she stands still.
It really is a chic and sexy look, but putting a shelf right under a more or less nonexistent bust means her girls look a little shoved around any time she cocks a hip or raises an arm. She looks great from the neck up and from just below the bust down, but those flimsy boobdrapes don’t marry well with the rest of the design. There are plenty of dresses that look great without a bra or are designed to be worn without one, but we don’t think you can have a fly-them-free bust with a tight velvet column skirt. The combination doesn’t work. The hair’s still a little wiggedy, but we love this style for her and her makeup looks great.
