Our first thought upon seeing Jodi Turner-Smith serving up pure drag eleganza was “What’s to argue with here?” Our second thought: “Oh, wait. We have some arguments.”
This is a lot of fun at first glance and we love that she went so draggy with the hair and makeup. A dress like this practically begs for this kind of styling and we can think of only a handful of stars who’d have taken it this far, Having said that, as much as we love the eye makeup, the pink on her cheeks nearly overwhelms her face. And we’re sorry to say we have some issues with the dress the longer we take it in. The visible shoulderpads are killing the vibe and the bust looks painfully tight. It’s a fantastic high-impact look, but the detailing takes it down several notches. A for effort, though.
