We gave Zendaya, Quinta Brunson and Ariana DeBose their shout-out posts, but they weren’t the only stars serving fashion at the Time 100 Gala. Let’s judge some of the others, shall we? With kindness and love, of course. Always with kindness and love.
Amanda Seyfried in Carolina Herrera
We love the styling – her hair and makeup look great, the shoes are interesting and that necklace is eye-catching – but we absolutely hate the design of the dress. Sorry, but we’re those queens who are never gonna love bust ruffles or trains with short skirts.
Andrew Garfield in Gucci
A ruffled shirt king.
Dwyane Wade in Fear of God
What a gorgeous design. It strikes us as vaguely too casual for the event, but it’s hard to argue with how good it looks on him.
Jeremy Strong
We don’t understand the pairing of these items. The pants, shirt and jacket all don’t go with each other.
Jon Batiste
That suits looks like one of those popcorn ceilings you have to pay a fortune to get rid of.
Mary J. Blige in Gaurav Gupta
Mary, you are forever a diva and we love you but we just can’t sign off on this over-designed mess of a dress.
Miranda Lambert in Christian Siriano
It’s an okay dress, but the leather elements are all badly designed or badly placed. The necklace and the clutch don’t strike us as the best choices for it.
Simu Liu in Versace
Yes, Simu. We can see your watch. Hope they let you keep it (even if it is kind of hideous). The suit’s gorgeous and we love the color on him, but we hate the satin matching shirt.
