We gave honoree and queen of the evening Michelle Yeoh her own spotlight post because SHE DESERVES, but it should be noted that the red carpet of Gold House’s inaugural Gold Gala was loaded with high style. In fact, we’re going to note that right now. Come note it with us! Because we have notes!

Alan Kim

ADORABLE.

Ashley Park

She’s working it, but we don’t love the neckline and those platforms are totally wrong for it. Hair and makeup are stunning, though.

Auli’i Cravalho

It’s kind of pretty in a minimalist sort of way. We like the bag and the jewelry choices, but we feel like the styling is going hard in order to make up for what the dress lacks: impact.

Chloe Bennet

Can’t argue with any of that. We might’ve liked a more interesting sandal, but the dress is fine and the color looks great on her.

Daniel Dae Kim

Looks great, but the shoes don’t go.

Henry Golding

We honestly thought the photo service mislabeled this picture, but it just turned out that Henry is letting his look evolve. It’s fine, but grooming-wise, we think he’s better working a clean-cut look.

Ian Anthony Dale in Paul Smith

We’d like it a lot more if it wasn’t so shiny.

Ke Huy Quan in Kenneth Barlis

Gorgeous and perfect. Love the frames and the boots.

Kelly Marie Tran

This is adorable and fun on its own without any explanation, but it’s even more fun when you discover that these are illustrations from the book RISE: A Pop History of Asian America from the Nineties to Now.

Kim Min-ha

Here is your reminder that if you haven’t watched Pachinko on Apple TV +, DO SO IMMEDIATELY. This dress suits her amazingly well, but we don’t like any of the accessory choices.

Poorna Jagannathan in Prabal Gurung

The colors are pretty, but we tend not to love tiered skirts and we really hate where the waist hits on this one.

Ramona Young in Cucculelli Shaheen

This has a gorgeous old Hollywood feel to it and we love the twist on a retro hairstyle. We wish the color popped a little more and the bust fit a little better, but it’s a really eye-catching and elegant look.

Sherry Cola in Gucci

It’s cute and it suits her really well. We just don’t like the black cuffs and hem.

Stephanie Hsu

If that skirt was fully lined we’d be fully in love with this look.
