Darlings, because of the Cannes Film Festival, the upfronts, and the launch of the first real, old-fashioned, summer movie season in two years, your manly hosts are ending this week with a ton of surplus celebrity style content in our folders. Put on your judgin’ pants and come help us clear the last of it out before the holiday weekend (which we will no doubt be working our way through in some small way) because the red carpet NEVER STOPS.

Chace Crawford (in Paul Smith) and Antony Starr

They look like they’re starring in a comedy about twin brothers who are also in the mafia.

Deepika Padukone in Ashi Studio

It’s trying to do too much.

Diane Kruger (in Miu Miu) and Norman Reedus

She looks great. His hair is inexplicable.

Edgar Ramirez

A very good-looking man who somehow doesn’t look great in formalwear. As rare as a unicorn.

Emmy Rossum

Low-key profesh and pretty while paying homage to her inspiration Angelyne.

Eva Longoria in Pinko

A ballgown skirt worn without a top.

Ewan McGregor

If it works at all, it’s only because he’s wearing it.

Idris Elba

Ditto.

This man comes alive in casual wear. He never looks comfortable in a suit which is why we tend to think he’s not a great choice for James Bond, who has to look like he could wash a car in a tuxedo.

Moses Ingram

The dress is okay, but the braid is spectacular and the little R2 bag is to-die-for.

Isabelle Huppert

Maybe dressing like you’re in organized crime is the next big fashion trend among celebrities. Either way, we’d get out of this woman’s way if we saw her coming.

Jay Ellis in Dries Van Noten

The shirt is cute, but we can’t get behind the drawstring cargo pants – ESPECIALLY WITH THE DRAWSTRING UNDONE SIR WHAT ARE YOU DOING

Joe Alwyn (in Prada) and Margaret Qualley (in Chanel)

They’ve really settled on that rockabilly/goth thing, haven’t they? It works.

Judy Greer in Greta Constantine

It’s a little bit trashbag couture, but she’s making the dress work. We just wish she hadn’t picked the match accessories.

Maisie Wiliams in Vintage Junya Watanabe

The dress is great, but the blonde hair isn’t working for her.

Noah Schnapp and Priah Ferguson (in Anine Bing)

They look like two kids playing dressup in a vintage store.

Noomi Rapace

Go on, girl. Give us nothing.

Talulah Riley in Sportmax

Another bit of trashbag couture that’s working better than expected, another case of falling for matchy accessories which do nothing for it.

Thomas Brodie-Sangster in Vivienne Westwood

We love the suit, but we hate the turtleneck and the boring dress shoes with it.

Joshua Jackson and Christian Slater

That cute gay couple on parents’ night at the high school.

Tom Hiddleston

Doing his usual. It works, even if it is a little dull at this point. We liked the aquamarine socks the other day, Tom Bring those back at least.
