Billie Eilish in Rick Owens
As we always say about her, she’s remarkably consistent about being true to herself when she presents herself to the world. We think this is a rather silly garment, but it’s perfectly suited to her and she knows how to wear it. We’re not mad at it.
Brandi Carlile in BOSS
We loved this, but we wish she’d button the jacket for pictures. We realize the fit is loose, but it hangs off her as presented. Otherwise, a spectacular look. Her hair is perfect for it.
Chloe Bailey in Valentino
Pretty and classic; like something Diana Ross would’ve worn to the Grammys 40 years ago. Her hair looks amazing.
Cynthia Erivo in Louis Vuitton
We rarely say this about any of her choices because she can usually handle a lot, but this is too much dress.
Doja Cat in Atelier Versace
And this is not enough dress.
Dua Lipa in Versace
It’s like a Versace explosion. It’s not new or fresh, but we’d argue it’s been around long enough to be called a classic style. She looks great in it.
Elle King in Christian Siriano
Ooof, no. We hate this – color, textile, shape and style.
H.E.R. in Dundas
LOVED this. It was an homage to Aretha’s ’70s period. The colors look amazing on her.
Halsey in Pressiat
The design feels a little unresolved, but we love the style for them.
Japanese Breakfast’s Michelle Zauner in Valentino Couture
This is so cute and she’s so perfectly suited to it.
Kourtney Kardashian (in Et Ochs) and Travis Barker (in Givenchy)
Meh One and Meh Two.
Megan Thee Stallion in Roberto Cavalli
We feel like the bracelets make the gown and the shoes were a missed opportunity. It’s a fun look, though.
Mickey Guyton in Ashish
Another fun look, but those shoes are terrible.
Rachel Zegler in Dior Couture
The bodice design is terrible as is the dishwater color.
St. Vincent in Gucci
This is so much fun. How could anyone be in a bad mood wearing this gown?
ZSA in Jean Paul Gaultier
The pressed-flower element is pretty, but we don’t love the color of the gown.
Tinashe in GCDS
We wouldn’t mind the dress if it fit better through the bodice. The bag is terrible.
