Miss Julia lands what stylists like to call the “T Lo Two-fer,” which is when she lands two coveted posts on our site in one day. We made most of the previous sentence up except for the part about two posts in one day.
Between this and her shorts at the Gaslit premiere later that night, we think it’s safe to say that Julia Roberts is in the Big Pants stage of her style evolution. We’re surprised to admit this, but we think this is actually pretty fun. The margarine color isn’t to our liking and we think the pants could do with another inch or two on the hem, but there’s something kind of fun about seeing the quintessential ’90s movie star remixing some ’90s styles without being overly referential about it. In other words, there’s enough freshness in the design that it doesn’t look like she’s rehashing things she wore decades ago. The shoes are fantastic, but we don’t think black was the way to go here.
