Alicia Keys has a new graphic novel out called Girl on Fire and to mark the occasion, she stepped out onto some talk show sets working superheroine/space queen realness in a couple of eye-popping looks.

It’s like a fabulous uniform for a very gay or very femme space patrol organization. We salute both her commitment to hawking her own brand and also the ways that she managed to dress up a look that might have come off a little too casual for a talk show set. Love the hair and shoes.
In Zhivago on THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON
YAAAS SPACE QUEEN.
While it looks like she’s not entirely comfortable sitting down in such a tight dress, we have to salute the whole look for serving super-draggy realness. Those boots are spectacular. The color looks great on her and we love the high collar and accentuated shoulders. She just needed a little more breathing room, although that may be missing the point of a dress like this.
