There’s good tacky and bad tacky. We think this is the former, although we expect vigorous debate on the matter. No, it doesn’t all make sense on a practical level, but we aren’t making the mistake of thinking about this in terms of practicality. It’s a stand-and-pose ensemble for a gal who’s been deliberately tackifying herself for this promo tour. We love that it’s all soft and monochromatic, which gives it a really photogenic, editorial feel. Can’t say we’re feeling the Barbie shoes, but that’s no surprise, is it?
