Darlings, a little fashion amuse-bouche before the SAG Awards hits us like a freight train.
She’s got elegance coming out of her pores, so she can make just about anything look chic, but this is one of those instances where, if you describe what she’s wearing out loud, it sounds a little iffy at best. A white polka dot cape sounds like part of a Halloween costume. Her hair and makeup are spectacular, we love the earrings, and we think the simple black gown is probably the only choice you can make to pair with a cape like this (despite what the runway shot is showing below). But we don’t love the highly visible seam and we’re not sure if we like the way it’s secured at her neck. Quibbles, to be sure, but this place is Quibble Central. You tell us:
