The Gilded Age star Christine Baranski stopped by the Colbert studios to promote the show and served what we’d call The Full Baranski:

It’s exactly what you expect from her, in style and fit and impeccability. She’s just not someone we’d expect to see stepping too far outside her preferred style, nor does she come across like someone who’d care if she were told that she needed to update her style in any way. This works for her, looks good, and it serves more or less as her brand after years of legal drama work on The Good Wife and The Good Fight. The jacket’s a little tricky for a seated interview and we’d have loved a shoe with a little more contrast or embellishment to it. On the other hand, the earrings are fabulous and it almost feels like the whole outfit was devised to show them off.
