Because it’s time for your daily moment of aesthetic perfectness, darlings. Call it self-care or call it just plain pretty, but it’s never a bad idea to pause and take in Riz Ahmed delivering a serve on the red carpet.
That (*gesture indicating everything going on here*) is just perfect. The color combination is glorious and the tailoring on the jacket is exquisite. Prada called it a v-neck long pink shirt, but it looks more like a casual chic shalwar kameez set. Whatever you call it, it all looks spectacular on him.
We’ll repeat what we said when Kumail Nanjiani wore a Pakistani menswear designer’s ensemble on the red carpet: For us, the question of “Can white people wear this” matters way less than the idea of celebrating the South Asian men at the height of their stardom who are bringing these gorgeous styles to American red carpets. That celebration and representation, that diversity of style is the story here for us; not how it affects white people.
