Why Miss Jennifer Lawrence. Look at you, all in your contractually obligated Dior — and for once, the house did right by you.
We’ll start off by saying there’s a lot about this look that doesn’t set us aflame with praise. The bland non-color, the somewhat mature-in-style cape-sleeve, the tinsel effect of the embellishments – none of that appeals to us, honestly. But she and Dior haven’t always produced the best red carpet results and this look is pretty, suited to her, and well-styled. The hair, makeup and earrings are all really pretty and well-coordinated to the look. Even if we don’t see it as the most dazzling style in the world, it’s a perfect “I’m an A-list actress at the height of awards season” maternity red carpet style.
We have to admit, it looks kind of awful at the hem.
A fantastic cast all working their ass off in what looks to be a painfully obnoxious film.
