Let’s all judge the stars at the Instyle Awards, kittens! Just for fun!

Alexandre Daddario in Dior

We kind of love this, even though the plaids are clashing and it looks like she may be wearing overalls. What can we say? It’s fun and vibrant and turns our heads. There’s been a lot of serious fashion lately and we’re way more about the party time looks right now.

Andie MacDowell in Dior

It’s a relatively simple dress, but it looks great on her. We’d have rather she chose a more vibrant color, though. We also tend to think her makeup has not been sufficiently adjusted for her gray hair.

Christina Hendricks in Preen By Thornton Bregazzi

Her love of twee romanticism has led her down some questionable style roads, but this is really pretty. It’s a little too close to her skin tone, but the unexpected color story of the print keeps the dress distinct and eye-catching. The wrist corsage is a bit much.

Connie Britton in RVNG

She looks like a vampire in a ’70s TV movie of the week and if you don’t understand that’s one hell of a compliment coming from us, we don’t know what to tell you.

Elle Fanning in Balmain

Hannah Einbinder in Fendi

Love the trim, hate the satin, not feeling the Mary Janes.

Jane Levy in Dundas

Ooof. This is tacky and unflattering. Sorry, Jane.

January Jones in Sandra Mansour

Whereas this is tacky and hilarious.

Jurnee Smollett in Valentino

It’s a really pretty dress in a bold color that looks gorgeous on her. The undergarments are giving her an unfortunate case of Barbie crotch. Ladystars, demand that your dresses come lined, even if it’s just in another layer of sheer.

Kate Hudson in Michael Kors

Lana Condor in Georges Chakra Couture

We are very confused by everything here and we don’t want to look at it anymore.

Lucy Hale in Dolce & Gabbana

Hard to argue with any of this. Oh wait, it’s D&G. Bad, Lucy. Cute, but bad.

Melissa McCarthy

She looks great in that color but we really don’t love that top.

Nicole Kidman in Armani Privé

You can read our assessment of this look here!

Niecy Nash in Alex Perry

We’d say marriage agrees with her but she’s always looked this snatched.

Phoebe Dynevor in Louis Vuitton

Victorian doll undergarments. We’re surprised to see her in a style like this. We’d think she’d want to get far away from frilly period-inspired fashion just to differentiate herself from her Bridgerton character.

Reese Witherspoon in Michael Kors Collection

It’s fine, but we wish the hem were longer.

Regina Hall in Saint Laurent

It’s not being shown off well in this lighting, but we can tell that’s a chic jumpsuit.

Storm Reid in Prada

Enh. It’s tacky, but she’s a kid and should be allowed to get it out of her system.

Tessa Thompson in Christian Siriano

We just don’t love the shape of that skirt.

Zoë Kravitz

It’s dramatic, but we don’t like the short sleeves and would have liked a little contrasting color or print somewhere.
