Darlings, we can’t even tell you how thrilled we are to see the return of celebrity charity galas with star-studded red carpets. What we can tell you is that we have every intention of judging as many of the attendees as we can. Join us, won’t you?

Adam Levine

It’s sharp and classic and hard to argue against. He looks great, if not exactly interesting.

Alexandra Daddario

Times like these make us wish for the return of the “pop of color” accessory. The dress is okay. The neckline holds some interest and we like that the sheer effect is so subtle. We just wish she had… we don’t know… gold accessories or something.

Ciara in Ashi Studio Couture

The big draggy skirt completely overwhelms the barely existent top.

Hilary Duff in Osman

Perhaps not the freshest style in the world, but it’s practically a breath of fresh air amidst all those funeral looks. It’s fun and festive and it suits her. Can’t hate.

Jenna Dewan in Rasario

The textile is pretty, but we don’t like the design at all.

Jennifer Garner in Prada

Well, at least she believes in the pop of color.

Jessica Alba in Stella McCartney

It’s at least a slightly interesting black dress and she wore enough jewelry to make it pop a little more. Don’t love the sheer panel, though. Just a little too figure skater.

Julie Bowen in Marchesa

Yikes. If you’re going to wear a brand as tainted as Marchesa, you could at least get a pretty dress out of it.

Kate Hudson in Carolina Herrera

We gave Miss Kate the spotlight treatment. Read our thoughts and vote on her look here.

Kerry Washington in Prada

Serving old school Diahann Carroll realness. She looks great and that hairstyle was the perfect choice.

Mandy Moore in Versace

Just a completely forgettable, unphotogenic, generic look. She looks pretty of course, but it’s terrible red carpet wear.

Miranda Kerr in Michael Kors Collection

It’s not a black lace dress at least.

Nicole Richie in Christian Dior

Another generic, forgettable dress. We’re actually surprised to see it on her because she’s pretty good at high impact looks with personality to them.

Riley Keough in The Row

What you need to know about The Row is that it almost always comes down to witch clothes or baptism clothes. Those Olsen girls are really into Ritual Chic.

Zooey Deschanel in The Vampire’s Wife

Y’know? If we were asked to name one person who might make a green corduroy The Vampire’s Wife dress work for her, we’d like to think we’d come up with Zooey Deschanel. Just the perfect marriage of dress and wearer.
