Moses Ingram was one of the very best things about last year’s The Queen’s Gambit and we’re thrilled that we’ll be getting more of her in The Tragedy of MacBeth and the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series for Disney Plus. We’re also thrilled to discover that she’s got a pretty cute and quirky style, which is never a bad thing when you’re an up-and-comer.
We’re honestly a little amazed how quickly we came around on socks with skirts. We used to hate this sort of look, but you’ve got the right combination of shoe, sock, and skirt (not to mention a wearer who can pull it all off), it’s a really cute, modern sort of look. We think we lije the idea of the suit more than the reality of it, however. The jacket is clearly too tight and we’re not crazy about how deep and wide those pleats are. On the other hand, the beigey-taupey color looks great on her. See? We don’t hate neutrals per se; we just hate them on the wrong person. We think we responded so well to this look despite some of the issues because we absolutely love the bottom and the top of it. That hair is amazing and we don’t think we’ve ever seen a style quite like that on a red carpet.
