There was a time when Kirsten Dunst favored pastels and there was another time when she favored wearing black a lot, but we’re loving her turn toward bold colors. We realize it’s partially trend-driven, but it turns out she’s really good with these sorts of hard to work combinations.

This just screams “My prestige film is premiering.” We like that it’s not overly formal. Boldness of the print aside, there’s a modesty (in the style sense, not the coverage sense) to it that suits her really well.

Personally, we would have waved her away from red velvet shoes, which tend to take this whole look to Christmastown pretty quickly. We’d have rec’d blue or even a muted yellow velvet to balance out all that green. Aside from that, we have neither quibbles nor nitpicks. We love this look. Do you? Let’s hear it.
