This is what we in the red carpet commentary biz (all two dozen of us) refer to as a SERVE.

What an absolute STUNNER of a gown. That skirt is mesmerizing. We’re not fully on board with the proportions of that neckline, but the straps in the back make up for it by being way more interesting than they had to be. LOVE that she chose some gemstones with a little color to them. We’re getting tired of diamonds being the default choice for red carpets when gemstones come in such a gorgeous array of colors. We wonder if the necklace isn’t the right shape for the neckline. Stars so rarely wear pendants on red carpets, but this gown practically begged for one. We’re not particularly in love with the hair and makeup, though. The smokey eye doesn’t suit her and doesn’t really go all that well with the style of gown.
