The stars came out appropriately dressed for the Venice Film Festival premiere of the 22nd entry in Miu Miu’s Tales of Women film series, I and the Stupid Boy. And when we say “appropriately dressed,” we of course mean “wearing Prada or Miu Miu.” Let’s see how they did with their required fashion, shall we?
Alba Rohrwacher in Prada
From the awkward proportions to the clunky footwear, this couldn’t possibly be more Prada.
Ciara Bravo in Miu Miu
This is pretty cute, but she doesn’t seem particularly comfortable in it.
Cynthia Erivo in Miu Miu
Probably one of the most toned-down looks she’s worn all year. We don’t hate it, but the bust just isn’t where it’s supposed to be.
Kiki Layne in Miu Miu
In times like these, it’s always best to snag the simplest pieces on offer. This is smart, low-key chic.
Rami Malek in Prada
It’s cute, actually. We’d say a t-shirt seems a little underdressed, but like we said, these clothes were all but assigned to them by their hosts.
Rebecca Ferguson in Miu Miu
We sense from her choices lately that she’s trying to do a little bit of a K Stew/Courtney Love-esque punk doll style. We don’t think that’s necessarily her sweet spot, but this look comes closest to being successful on that front. We just hate the sleeves.
Timothée Chalamet in Prada
He’s a boy who loves high-end leisure wear and gigantic videogame character footwear. Let him live.
Tye Sheridan in Prada
He and Kiki Layne really take the prizes here. Not for being the most stylish. In truth, both of them went fairly dull and generic in their choices, but they both picked looks for which they’re really well-suited and they’re guaranteed unembarrassing photos. Since neither of them are promoting their own projects here, low key pays off. Anyway, we love his shoes.
