Two things are true about Sharon Stone; the first is that she knows how to be a movie star down to her bones. The second is that she always rises to the occasion in as uncomplicated a manner as possible. So when the Zurich Film Festival said they were going to give her the Golden Icon Award, Miss Thing said “Sure. I’ll be there. Dressed like the Golden Icon I am.”
No muss, no fuss, no need to overthink it. Give this lady a sparkly gown and she’ll know exactly what to do with it. Do we love that it’s Dolce & Gabbana, given their problematic history? No. Can we argue with the results? No again.
