Shoutout to a classic.
Aside from the choice of label, there’s not much to argue with here. She looks great. It’s not easy to make a red leopard print gown look elegant, but she’s got the natural bearing and looks to pull it off. It helps that the styling is minimal. LOVE the dagger pendant.
Jamie Lee Curtis has been very outspoken since middle age about her thoughts on aging in Hollywood and how she wants no part of the relentless attempts to remain youthful. She’s also been very clear about how fake all celebrity promotional exercises are. But because she’s something so many people oddly seem to forget about her – major Hollywood royalty as the daughter of Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh – she can turn that stardom switch on when she needs to, without any fuss at all. At this point, it’s an innate talent. When we say she manages to remain authentically herself, part of that equation includes her lifetime in the public eye and the skills that come with having navigated it successfully and safely.
