Geez, way to screw up our plans for the day, Thandiwe. We took one glance at this ensemble and immediately pegged it for an IN or OUT post. We ran into a slight problem when we got a closer look at it, however.
Well, shit. That’s just about perfect, isn’t it?
This being an online situation, we expect and encourage disagreement, of course, but to our eyes, this is all perfectly styled and proportioned. We should be hating that enormous ruffle, but the color looks great on her and we like how the the belts and the sandals (perfectly coordinated, by the way) serve as a sort of hard response to the soft frivolity of the neckline. The shape is perfect and the jewelry is stunning (LOVE that matching ring and asymmetrical earring situation). We think the rather downplayed hair and makeup is smart here, letting the bolder elements pull all the focus.
