We tried to come up with different opening sentences for this post but every cell in our bodies was telling us to get that one out first. It’s the most honest and natural of initial responses to this outfit, we think. Because…
MARGOT, PLEASE.
She’s been at this game a good while now. While we think her natural tendency is toward the goofy when it comes to fashion, this is just so ridiculous that we have to assume there’s at least a little bit of attention-seeking in the choice. Not that it’s a crime. That’s exactly what the red carpet is for, after all. But we can’t buy into the idea that anyone involved in this look actually thinks it’s chic or stylish.
We can’t, kittens. It’s too painful.
We hate to say it, but the look would be improved if she removed the shirt. It wouldn’t fix those weird-ass pants, but at least the top half would make a little more sense.
