Darlings, we are happy to report that not only did the stars serve us so much fashion this week that we wound up with a surplus of looks to judge, but also that these looks are fairly stylish! No real disasters, although there’s one that we dislike tremendously. Let’s get judgy with it!
Cynthia Erivo in Area
Love the plaid, love the cut of the suit, love the platforms. Not remotely sold on the chain detail.
Dua Lipa in Yung Reaper (Top) and Eytys (Denim)
She’s modeling for the ‘gram, which means it’s way more about the vibe than it is about showing off the details of the look. So going by that, we’d say the vibe is pretty fun and summertime chic.
Hannah Einbinder in Etro
This is a really fabulous suit in a gorgeous color, but we almost feel like the whole look is a bit on the mature and conservative side for her. She should be dressing young and funky right now. Monochromatic looks are really back, aren’t they? Oh, well. They rarely photograph well so we expect this trend to have a short life among celebs.
Heidi Klum in Dundas
Sure, Heidi. Wear a velvet suit in August. Give us everything, girl. It’s fun, and the silhouette is borderline insane.
Justice Smith in Valentino
Sure, Justice Smith. Sport a heavy-ass sweater in the late August sun. Suffer for your style, sir. We… don’t really love any of this, sorry to say.
Karen Gillan in Brock Collection
Really cute dress, really weird shoes.
Krys Marshall in Milk White
Love the top and skirt, but the shoes don’t go at all, fabulous as they are. The style’s wrong and the color clashes.
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in Dior Homme
We would love this so much more if the socks and the sneakers were anything but black.
Yara Shahidi in Stella Jean
GORGEOUS! Does that skirt really go with that top? Probably not, but who cares! Girlfriend is serving one hell of a look. LOVE the sandals.
