The stars of Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings continue their exhaustive (this is one of three posts featuring cast members today) and stylish promo tour for the film’s VIP screening in New York. The event didn’t call for high-end formality, but they all came delivering lewks nonetheless.
Awkwafina in Monse
LOVE this for her. In a way, Monse seems like it would be the brand most likely to cater to her preferences. She likes classic pieces with twists to them and that’s pretty much their entire ballgame. Having said all that, we are pretending not to see the white part. Join us in our delusion, won’t you?
Meng’er Zhang 张梦儿 in Prada
It’s a little too school girl for our tastes. We think jumper is cute and has possibilities, but when you pair it with that blouse and those socks, we’re not feeling the juvenile vibe. Love the bag, though.
Simu Liu 刘思慕
Just perfect. We don’t love polo shirts with suits (too many douchey associations, probably), but he makes it look fresh. Our only quibble is that the suit seems a little too dark for a lightweight yellow shirt.
Fala Chen 陳法拉 in Emporio Armani
Perfection. It’s not pushing the envelope, but it doesn’t have to. She looks sharp, grownup and confident. Love the oversized buttons.
