We’ve enjoyed the glorious return of high red carpetry in the past few weeks, but that doesn’t mean the art of the WERQ From Home look isn’t still an important promo tool for stars, stylists and designers. We suspect this sort of format for celebrity promotion is here to stay, whether we’re all socially distancing or not. Things were trending that way anyway, as social media has allowed celebrities to tightly control their image in a way no red carpet or in-person talk show appearance will allow. If half the population under 40 is regularly serving lewks on the ‘gram, it shouldn’t be a surprise that the stars are doing the same thing, except with the help of high-end style teams and the blessing (if not donation) of major luxury brands.

We don’t necessarily think the sweater and pants need to be paired, especially considering the different in textiles and weights. But it’s such a fun, photogenic sort of look to serve on your socials if you’ve got a day of press (she was making an appearance on The Talk) or you just feeling like reminding folks you’re still here and fabulous.
