The Emmy nominations closed this week and we suspect Miss Elizabeth was doing a final round of press for her buzz-heavy performance in WandaVision, which may be why we are receiving these fashion blessings.
It would be crazy for an Avenger to win a major acting award for playing an Avenger, but if anyone on that team is worthy, it would have to be her. Anyway, here she is, working her absolute style sweet spot: A big ol’ tricky ladysuit. She’s got a knack for them.

We love the boxier cut and the way the textile comes off extremely traditional while being rendered in a form that’s anything but. Do we love the jacket-over-another-jacket jacket? Not really, but we think the suit would be a lot less interesting without it. And we love that they wend to white pumps instead of the expected black ones, which would have made it come off a bit too business-like. We think she looks pretty great, tricky suit aside.
