Lily Rabe appears to have found her style niche and so long as ruffled little twee frocks remain on trend, she’ll never have a problem picking out an outfit. In other words, she did it again. She wore a dress we’d hate otherwise and she made us love it:

To be fair, this is a bit more sophisticated than the usual prairie dress. The textile is really pretty and the pleated skirt and neutral belt do a lot to make us overlook the shoulder ruffles, which are wholly unnecessary. Her makeup looks fantastic. We’re not as in love with the hair, which frames her face a little aggressively and looks … we don’t know… heavy somehow. We’d love to see her try it pulled up or back or in any way off her face.
