Not to gush, but … okay yes, we’re gonna gush. It’s partially because we’re loving every little sign that things are inching closer to normal (like celebrities in TV studios all dressed up and willing to talk about their latest project), and partially because … well, look at her:
You can see why she’d be cast as a legendary queen. Poise and bearing out the wazoo, as they say in the industry. Said industry being blogging.
The dress is pretty; combining a sort of breezy modernity with some slightly formal, period costume-esque touches like the neckline and the shape of the sleeves. We don’t normally love black ensembles for TV chat shows (and the lighting really isn’t helping here), but it looks very chic on her. We like the slight playfulness of the makeup and jewelry choices, which feel almost futuristic. She just looks fantastic and you can’t take your eyes off her.
Man, Joshua Jackson must have some sort of …uh… superpower or something.
