For their first public appearance post-funeral, post-Harry reunion and on the Queen’s birthday, Prince William and Duchess Kate stuck to the royal mourning attire while paying tribute to the Duke of Edinburgh.

Of course it’s a lovely coat and a tasteful but stylish way to maintain mourning attire with a bit of the military undertone she likes to work when she’s visiting service members. There’s not much here to discuss from a style perspective but there isn’t supposed to be. Having said that, we’re annoyed she’s wearing Dolce & Gabbana. We’ll take it as a tribute to Prince Philip, who had shall we say a similar tendency to say highly problematic things. We wonder if she’ll transition to purple mourning wear down the line.
Anyway, here’s the place to chat about the funeral if you feel like it. We didn’t catch any of it except all the fevered coverage of William and Harry co-existing in the same space.
